Oh, it's a bit like... a classy sort of club setting, I guess you could say. Dark wood, barstool seating, that sort of thing.

Well, it's not as if I gave you very much time to prepare! And it's quite kind of you.

[ experimentally, she dips some vegetables, though she does something odd while eating—she looks down and shades her eyes. what does it taste like? ]

[It's tasty, though not terribly fancy; he really didn't have much time to prepare. The dip is a combo of salty-sour-spicy that works surprisingly well together, and the veggies are crisp and fresh. There are carrots and sliced bell peppers and sugar snap peas.]

[He averts his eyes, mindful that she said she doesn't usually eat in front of other people.]
