I'm aware that many others have them. But if my recollection of scholars is anything, I agree with my past self that the previously less publicized voices are worth listening more acutely too. Something about not being part of dominant socio-economic class tends to make anything worth saying for that group absolutely critical. Go figure.

an entertaining thing to do would be to replace every instance of “for ritual purposes” in any archeology article with “for funsies”
