He doesn't seem to think that the rest of you would be at all troubled by how that game went for your unit, but I told him I didn't think that would be the case.
He really doesn't like confrontation, but it's not something you can really get through life here avoiding. I think he's just talked himself into believing there's two possibilities with no room for compromise, and that's of course not true. There's always room for compromise.
Not that I'd argue with the way you played, though, since ordinarily that's the playstyle people would be taking our unit to task for.
