Just from cursory talks with the rest of the unit, no one seemed completely pleased with how things went in that game.

... Admittedly, it's a little rough to hear that he'd rather assume our feelings on the matter rather than talk with us about it.

Certainly that's a stance I can agree with. Flexibility and compromise are usually the best tools to aid a group in working together, even with differing opinions.

Getting everyone to share their opinion, and consider everyone else's in working together toward a mostly satisfying agreement... it seems like there's a lot of history prior to my arrival that makes it hard to do.

an entertaining thing to do would be to replace every instance of “for ritual purposes” in any archeology article with “for funsies”
