Look, I––we did this whole marriaged thing, but, like –– it was in that creepy "ca-see-no" place, and the demon that did it I'm pretty sure ran the first game I ever died in, and I was––

[She visibly cycles through several words before settling on:]

––sick, and we didn't really know what doing marriage was, and so people just. I don't know, talk about it like it doesn't count?

And she's never had a 'party' before anyway. I mean, her unitmate did one, but he doesn't even know her, it wasn't anything like what she'd like –– and he hates me, so he set up this weird thing and then ditched, and the whole thing was, uh. Terrible and awkward?

So I don't think we did any of it how it was supposed to go.

So, we can absolutely make something happen that both of you will actually enjoy and will feel like a "you" thing.

I mean, no one here would recognize the kinds of marriages I've officiated, and if you don't have a particular cultural tradition or families to please, if you want to celebrate your relationship, then the point is that it's things you like.

...though there's some things that are standard for parties. Food, drinks, decorations, inviting your friends and any relevant family you're not estranged from or at war with. Sometimes there's activities or games.

Would they let you? I mean, I've seen some of you come back before, but it's always, like, "graduation" or for one of those 'holiday' things.

If you pitch a party concept for an event and they go for it you're allowed to come back as long as you're "hosting" it, even if it's not a game.

...so I might be able to swing something so that I coincidentally happen to be around at the right time, if you'd like to put me on the guest list.

I mean, can't you just host the marriage party?

I was thinking of doing it for Sabre and Arya at the same time. They've got some thing going on, and anyway, last time Sabre freaked out over me and Aster "leaving her out" and I don't feel like doing that mess again.

I can just host something public as a formality so I can also set up a private party for you and yours. You should start thinking about what you'd like, though.

Well, you'd have a guest list and someone checking attendance at the door.

Although—perhaps you should discuss who you want on your guest list with Aster, first. That's something normally both of you would do together, and perhaps find a compromise on.
