So, I should engage in ritual? Or are you planning to put on hell's rendition of Antigone? Oedipus Rex would go over a lot better with this crowd, I have to say.

[small snort]

What about you? Do you think anyone is going to want to engage in ritual with you? Or are you just left out to the cold and grasping at the passing psychopath?

So, you're, what, frustrated by that?

Believe what you want. Subjectivity is what psychology deals in.

You should keep up your research. Your understanding is very limited if you're arguing that assertion.

I would say you are lucky to skip the awkward growing years of the discipline, but it is far from past that.

Haven't put much thought into how men would diagnose problems of those who are generally perceived as female, have you? They don't really leave room for sympathy.

I'm aware that many others have them. But if my recollection of scholars is anything, I agree with my past self that the previously less publicized voices are worth listening more acutely too. Something about not being part of dominant socio-economic class tends to make anything worth saying for that group absolutely critical. Go figure.

Sure, if you want the foundation for later interpretation on top of public and professional response. Knock yourself out.

an entertaining thing to do would be to replace every instance of “for ritual purposes” in any archeology article with “for funsies”
